A few years ago Annika started writing this song for one of her closest friends when her friend's relationship suddenly ended very badly and she wondered what she could do to make her friend feel better. "I knew I didn't have much to offer - I could only smile and try to be there for her. So I tried to write a song for her, but for some reason, I was blocked. So the draft of the song sat in a drawer for a while until I took it out in 2020 and finished it. By then my friend had moved on and was happily married.
